Namak Haram Daorhi is located in Jafraganj, it was the place of Mir Jafar. It was opposite to Jafraganj Cemetery Lalbagh Murshidabad.

The word Namak Haram means "one who can not be trusted" And Daorhi means "Gate", so it's mean " Traitor Gate " .

Historical evidence bera testimony to the fact that a conference was held in Namak Haram Daorhi before the to Battle of Plassey
Mir Jafar, willam watts& Mir Miran were the various people who were said present in the conference. Willam watts was the chief officer of factory of British East India Company which is located in Kasim Bazzer .

Seir Mutapherin has stated that Mummhad-i-bag assassination Nawab siraj -ud- Daula on the order of Mir miran in the premises of Namak Haram Daorhi.
The murder occurred right there near a Neem tree on 2nd july 1757. This was done after the Nawab made an attempt to retreat following his defeat in Battle of Plassey.

The place Namak Haram Daorhi was strength with the aid of turrets and towers and also equipped in Canon with the order of protect the building from external attack.
However, in present the place is in a state of completely ruins , except the gate of Daorhi.
