Mirza Muhammad Siraj Dawla more popular know as Siraj-ud- Daulah the last Nawab of Bengal,Bihar&Odisha.

 Personal life:

     Siraj -ud-Daulah was born in Murshidabad in the year 1733. He was born into a Nawab family. His father  was Zain Uddin Ahmad khan, and his mother was Amina Begum. Siraj was raised in the place of Nawabs and was provided required training and education need to be  qualified as a future Nawab of Bengal.

Siraj-ud- daulah was very close to his grandfather Alivardi Khan . Who took special care of him. He even accompanied Alivardi Khan in on of his Military campaign  against Maratha force in 1746. In may 1752 Alivardi Khan declared Siraj - ud- dulah as his  successor. When Alivardi Khan passed away four year later on April 10 ,1756,the  23 year old Siraj was declared as the Nawab of Bengal . However, Siraj's nomination  to the Nawabship gave rise to jealous among many includi hi relatives.
                  As the Nawab of Bengal :   The new Nawab of Bengal welcome  by animosity and resentment which was failed to notice as fast as all  nagativ felling was hidden behind the face of the own relative. Include his aunt Ghaseti Begum and casuin Saikat jung  . As the day passed  Siraj- ud-Daulah realize that he could face massive challenge. From his aunt she possessed serious wealth and placing her under confinement. Thik initial and crucial he face no rebellion from within the court at last the initial phase of administration. Siraj then want to make certain key change in high government position. On of his most trustable officer  mr. Madan khan was made the new paymaster of the force   and a hindu kayasto named Mohonlal was elected to the new Diwan of  bengal. Siraj-ud-daulah decisions to promote a hindu in a high rank post irked the head of the armed force. Mir Jafaer who took Mohanlal promotion as a personal Insult, which he never forget.
As the Nawab of Bengal Siraj-ud-daulah took special interest  about East India Company as he was well known  intension of East India Company from beginning. He could not stand beside East India company. He also commended British fir Misusing of  Tread privileges that was granted by the Mughals and for sheltering  some of his estranged officers. Who had committed certain fraudulent actacts. While he was already mad at the British, the East India company  increase strength and fortification around the Fort William further. 
When Nawab ask the British to stop , they failed to pay heed his words.
Siraj-ud-daulah  retailed by gathering his forces and leading an attack of british dominant area in Kolkata.

Siraj-ud-daulah "Black Hole tragedy"

He captured Kolkata in June 1756 and than took over the control of Fort William. Siraj-ud-daulah have a captive confined in smal prison , which came to be known as " Black Hole of Calcutta " .

According to one of the prisoners  named  John Zephaniah  Holwell, the prisoner in which  64 prisoners was captive  was so small that 43 out of 64 had died of suffocation and heat exhaustion. However the British choose to strike a peace deal with Siraj-ud-daulah , who agree to perdon  many official belonging to the British East India Company.
